If you passed your car driving test ON or AFTER 1st January 1997, then you WILL need to take a trailer test to tow a trailer of any kind up to 3500kgs (3.5tonne). This will give your vehicle and trailer a combination train weight (car + trailer together) of 7tonnes maximum.
If you are wanting to tow a trailer of any kind, then you will need to take an additional driving test to gain your official entitlement for B+E. Whether it be a Horsebox, Caravan, Car Transporter, or just a basic trailer, we can help you pass.
If needed we can conduct an initial assessment of your driving and towing capabilities, we can then determine what length of course you will need. All our courses are intensive courses with your test being on the last day......meaning there is very little room to forget anything!
We can provide a vehicle and trailer for you to learn in, or we can conduct the training in your own vehicle and trailer providing it is presentable and suitable to test standards.
